Loading... Please wait...Cult Racing Cycles was setup in April 2009 by Paul Prince. After refurbing 'The Pump House' we opened for business officially in July 2009.

When we setup the shop, we realised anyone can go to any number of bike shops locally and nationally and anyone can get cheap gear off the internet, so the question we asked ourselves was..... how could we be different?
It was a simple answer.....Customer Service....offer customers what they normally expect from a bike shop... and more.
Customers are King (or Queen!) in our shop. SIMPLE. Looking after each and everyone that walks through our door is what we do. It sits ahead of everything else, what we sell, what we service, what we repair. Its drilled into the staff so there are no excuses. EVER.
Paul believe's that if you give exceptionally good service people will talk about you as much as if you give exceptionally bad service. Recommendation is the most powerful marketing tool for any business and this is what we are trying to tap into....and its working!!!!
Things do go wrong!
We're not complacent either. We are definitely not perfect! We are human, we do forget, we do make mistakes but when we do, you have our promise we will do everything in our power to rectify the problem swiftly and satisfactorily.
Our Customers have the benefit of 7 days a week opening, we open late, we have an internet bar, wi-fi, a plasma TV, a customer shower, lots of FREE parking and plenty of demo bikes, wheels and accessories to try! ....plus much more!
And that's not it, we are always coming with fresh, new ideas to make your customer experience with us personal, fun and value for money. Our latest idea is a series of cycle workshops aimed at beginners or novices that want to learn the basics of bike maintenance.

We live in 'The Pump House'
Trying to be competitive on price and doing that on every line we stock in the shop is impractical because of the time it takes to research online, so we've taken a decision to price our gear at £RRP, as a guide, and then do a deal individually on each item and with each customer.
We like a deal as much as the next guy, so don't be afraid to ask us what we can do stuff for. We'll price match where we can but on some items we just can't compete with the big online retailers but what we can offer that they don't is a coffee, a chat, a bit of banter and great after-sales service!!

Gareth Owen, Sales Assistant Being ex-military he is VERY well organised and keeps the ship that is the shop running smoothly. Very, very reliable, Gareth enjoys riding his bike for fun too. Not physically built for cycling (at the moment!), he's Paul's pet project for the next 6 months to slim him down and get him fit for Majorca in 2011! Gareth is training to be a cycle mechanic at the moment and will be an integral part of the future of the shop. |

| Conor Horne, Sales Assistant (part-time) Conor joined us in June 2010. Though not a full-time bike rider himself he does have an exceptionally talented sister (Ciara) who races at a National level, so cycling does run in the family. He's very enthusiastic and is a quick learner. His first love are cars but cycling comes a very close 2nd and he's good for abuse when we're bored in the shop! lol |
